Dr Avnesh Ratnanesan
Founder & CEO
Dr Avi is the Founder and CEO of Energesse, a leading digital health and advisory firm specializing in improving patient experience and pandemic management in healthcare. As a health futurist, Dr Avi has also helped advise on trends as well as develop innovative decision-support solution for hospitals and health services to manage the pandemic performance efficiently and effectively.
Dr Avi’s unique career began as a medical doctor in the UK and Australia, working across public and private sectors. After an MBA (Hons), he ventured into biotech and pharmaceuticals with responsibilities from researching high-profile medicines such as ‘Viagra’, to Chief of Staff and advisor to the CEO of industry leader Pfizer Australia. He helped manage products worth over $100mil a year and strategically grow the overall organization to over $1 billion a year in revenue. Prior to Energesse, Dr Avi successfully founded 2 other companies in digital technology.
Dr Avi is regularly featured in the media and a high rated international keynote speaker. He has presented his views at conferences in World Congress of Prevention & Wellness, Future of Medicare Conference, Future of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme Summit, Health Insurance Summit and the Healthcare Analytics Summit.
Charles is a Product Analyst specialising in performance analytics with a strong inclination towards quantitative data. Having worked with Energesse for the past couple years, Charles has dived deeper into healthcare; co-developing the PXme as well as key projects spearheaded by Energesse towards patient experience.
Hon. Dr. Michael Armitage
Dr Armitage graduated from the University of Adelaide, and after a decade as a practicing Medical Practitioner, he was elected to the South Australian Parliament from 1989 to 2002, where he was a Minister from 1993 – 2002. In particular, he held the Health portfolio from 1993 to 1997, and a variety of other portfolios such as Government Enterprises, Information Economy, Ports, Forestry, etc., during his Ministerial career.
After his Parliamentary career,he was involved in the Super Computer industry, as the Director – Sciences (ANZ) for Silicon Graphics (SGI) before joining Private Healthcare Australia as CEO in November 2005.
After a decade as the CEO of this body, he was asked to become the Senior Adviser to the Minister for Health in Qatar, where he worked for four years.
Having returned to Australia in 2020, he now has consultancies in the Middle East, and is Government Adviser for Energesse.
Olivia de Guzman
Olivia is highly experienced in the health and wellness industry having helped a health and wellness institute with their marketing efforts and community activities in Diabetes Awareness. In addition, she has provided senior administrative support to government and international companies for over 10 years. Her background also includes working for a large software development company dedicated to providing high quality educational materials for the maritime industry.
Olivia’s diverse skill set also includes serving as a marketing manager for an international school where she extensively utilised her skills in customer service and communications. In her spare time, Olivia expands her personal wellness by enjoying off-roading, camping and being close to nature.
